How to weave in yarn ends

Thread the yarn end onto the tapestry needle and run it along the stitches on the wrong side of the work. Do not pierce the yarn itself, but go through the stitch paths so that nothing puckers. Pull the yarn only as tight as needed for the work to stay smooth, then cut off the excess. Use the shorter needle for small pieces and tight spots where you need more control; the longer needle picks up several stitches at once on larger areas.
