Rayher jewellery glue – extra strong adhesive for rhinestones, beads and cabochons

Rayher jewellery glue (art. no. 3339700) is an extra strong adhesive for jewellery making and crafts. You can use it to stick rhinestones, beads and cabochons to metal, wood, glass and leather. The glue dries clear, so glued joints are barely noticeable.

The glue is applied to both surfaces and needs to be left briefly to become tacky before you press the parts together. This makes the bond durable, but it does take a few minutes of patience. The 27 g tube is enough for many small glued joints.

How to glue

For the glue to hold, both surfaces must be clean. Then proceed as follows:

• Clean the surfaces to be glued and let them dry.
• Apply the glue to both parts and leave it briefly to become tacky.
• Press the parts together and hold them in position.
• Leave to dry overnight before the piece of jewellery is worn or put under strain.

Which materials does it bond?

The glue bonds metal, wood, glass and leather, for example settings, blanks or leather bands with stones and beads. It is not suitable for soft plastics and polystyrene foam. With such materials, it is better to test on an inconspicuous spot or choose a different glue.
