The URSUS coloured card pad in DIN A3 format (29.7 × 42 cm) contains 10 sheets of coloured card in 10 colours, bound as an assorted pad. The card is 220 g/m² and made from virgin pulp, dyed through. According to the manufacturer, it offers brilliant colours and high lightfastness.

Dyed through means the colour is retained even along cut and torn edges, so there are no white borders. This is practical for collages, paper cuts and anything you want to cut out or tear.

What the card is suitable for

At 220 g/m², the card is much sturdier than ordinary drawing paper. It is suitable for greeting cards, window pictures, lanterns, collages, folded projects and templates. The A3 size gives you room for large designs and can be cut down to smaller sizes if needed.

How to use it

Carefully separate the sheets at the glued edge so that the edge does not tear. Before folding, lightly score the fold line with the blunt side of a pair of scissors or a bone folder: this stops the colour layer from cracking and keeps the edge straight. For sticking, a thin layer of craft glue works best so that the card does not warp.
