Foam stipple brush set – 12 brushes in four sizes

This Creativ Company set contains 12 foam stipple brushes with wooden handles for dabbing, stamping and applying paint. You get four sizes with 3 brushes each: 13, 20, 25 and 35 mm in diameter. They cover small dots as well as larger areas.

The foam is soft, absorbent and keeps its shape. The brushes are suitable for acrylic, fabric and craft paints, and can be washed out and reused after working. At 9–10 cm long, they sit comfortably in the hand, even for precise work.

Working with stipple brushes

Pick up only a little paint and dab off any excess on a palette or a plate. Then hold the brush upright and press it down without any wiping movement. If you do not twist the brush as you press, the edges of the print stay clean. This gives even dots, soft gradients or grainy textures, for example when working with stencils. Wash out water-based paints straight after working, before they dry in the foam.

Which size to choose

The size determines how large the print will be. The set's four graduated sizes let you switch depending on the motif.

• 13 mm: small dots, details and narrow stencil openings
• 20 mm: flowers, accents and medium-sized motifs
• 25 mm and 35 mm: larger areas and backgrounds
