YKK VISLON 45 cm zip – light and sturdy for jackets and sportswear

The 45 cm YKK VISLON zip is a 1-way open-ended zip with one slider, for jackets, sportswear and motorcycle clothing. The plastic teeth are moulded onto the tape. This makes it much lighter than a metal zip of the same length, while it stays sturdy.

Tape and teeth are matched tone on tone, so the row of teeth is barely noticeable on the garment. Choose your colour from the options.

Length and fitting

Measure the opening of your jacket or sewing pattern before buying, as the zip must fit the intended opening. Pin it in place or hold it with sewing clips before sewing, then stitch it in with a zip foot. The seam then runs close to the row of teeth without touching it. The 14 mm tape width leaves you room for a neat seam beside the teeth.

Choosing within the range

The YKK VISLON 1-way zip with one slider is also available in other lengths, for example 25, 30, 35, 50, 55, 60, 70, 75 and 110 cm. The 45 cm length suits shorter jackets, waistcoats or children's jackets. For longer styles, choose a longer zip.
