Knitting and felting

This wool is intended for projects that you felt after knitting. With 8 mm needles, you get a tension of 12 stitches and 18 rows over 10 × 10 cm before felting. What matters is the tension given in your pattern; the figure on the ball band is only a guide. During felting, the knitted fabric becomes denser and shrinks. A felted test swatch will show you beforehand how much the measurements change.

Choosing your yarn
