Faber-Castell Sleeve double pencil sharpener – sharpener with shavings sleeve
The Faber-Castell Sleeve double pencil sharpener sharpens graphite and colouring pencils in standard and jumbo sizes. After sharpening, the sharpener slides into a black sleeve. The sleeve protects it from dirt and acts as a container while you sharpen, so no shavings fall out. The design won the ISPA Award in the "Back to School" category in 2007.
The ergonomic shape sits comfortably in the hand. A safety screw holds the insert in place. The black plastic housing fits into pencil cases and school bags.
How to sharpen
Put standard pencils into the smaller opening and jumbo pencils into the larger one. Turn the pencil with even, light pressure so that the lead does not break. Empty the shavings from the sleeve regularly. The sharpener contains a blade, so handle it with care.
