WEDO Pencil Sharpener for Thick Pencils up to Ø 16 mm, Blunt Point

WEDO Pencil Sharpener for Thick Pencils up to Ø 16 mm – Blunt Point

The WEDO single sharpener (art. no. 52105) sharpens thick pencils up to 16 mm in diameter, such as thick colouring pencils. The sharpener is made of plastic and is wedge-shaped. A second integrated blade (KUM Big16) gives the point a blunt finish. With soft, thick leads, a blunter point does not break as easily as a long, fine one.

At 4.0 × 3.5 × 2.6 cm, it is small enough for a pencil case or jacket pocket. The sharpener is supplied in assorted colours; you cannot choose the colour.

Sharpening thick pencils

Before sharpening, check that your pencil is no more than 16 mm in diameter. Insert it into the opening and turn it with even, light pressure until no more wood is being cut away. Too much pressure can make soft leads break. The sharpener has an integrated blade, so handle it with care.
