STABILO point 88 – 0.4 mm fineliner for notes and fine drawing
The STABILO point 88 is a fineliner with a 0.4 mm line width for school, office and creative work. It is sold as a single pen, and you choose your colour from the options. It comes in many colours, including 6 neon colours.
The tip is metal-clad, so it keeps its shape. You can therefore work with a ruler and stencil and draw clean lines. According to STABILO, the pen protects the ink well against drying out even without its cap. The cap can be pushed onto the end of the pen, and the fineliner is suitable for left- and right-handers. The barrel is hexagonal and orange with edge stripes. For the pen body and cap, STABILO uses 96% ISCC-certified, bio-based plastic (mass balance). The share is allocated by calculation across production.
What the fineliner is used for
With a 0.4 mm line width, you can write easily legible notes, label plans and sketches, draw fine outlines or add colourful accents in bullet journals and mind maps. The metal-clad tip withstands the pressure of drawing along a ruler and stencil. The neon colours are useful when markings need to stand out.
What to know before you buy
According to STABILO, the ink is not waterproof and not document-proof. The pen is therefore not intended for signatures and forms that must stay legible permanently. Drawings and notes that get wet may run. The pen is not refillable. Put the cap back on after writing; it is ventilated.
