Ecola poster paint from Royal Talens is a vividly coloured gouache in a 1-litre bottle. It suits school, home and craft groups that get through a lot of paint. It comes in 18 colours; choose your colour from the options. According to the manufacturer, it was developed to help people learn colour mixing. It covers well, dries quickly to a matt finish and adheres to paper, card and wood, among other surfaces.
The paint can be diluted with water if needed. Thanks to its high colour intensity, it is economical in use, according to the manufacturer. The special dosing cap lets you dispense the paint easily and precisely from the bottle. This is especially helpful when several children or participants work from one bottle.
Working with Ecola
Dispense the amount you need through the dosing cap into a small dish or onto a palette. Paint straight from the bottle and the colour will be strong and opaque. Add a little water to make it more fluid, for example for larger areas. Because the paint dries matt, surfaces stay even with no shine. For sponging, dab the paint on with a sponge or pad. According to the manufacturer, stamping and monoprinting are also possible.
- Paint stains cannot always be washed out of fabrics easily, so protect clothing and the table.
- Clean hands and brushes with soap and water after painting.
Who is the 1-litre bottle for?
