Rico Design silicone ring mould, wide rings – 7 ring sizes for resin jewellery

With the Rico Design wide rings silicone mould (art. no. 500754), you can cast wide jewellery rings from casting resin. The mould has seven cavities for ring sizes from Ø 14 to 20 mm. This lets you cast several rings in one go and try out different sizes.

According to Rico Design, the mould is suitable for UV Resin Soft. According to the manufacturer, this keeps the finished ring pleasantly flexible. The soft silicone makes it easy to release fully cured rings from the mould without leaving residue.

Getting good results with your rings

Place the mould on a level surface so the resin sits flat. Colour the resin as you like and pour it slowly into the cavities. Air bubbles that rise to the top can be pushed to the surface with a cocktail stick before curing. Only take the rings out once the resin has fully cured; otherwise they may become misshapen or stay tacky. To release them, gently bend the silicone to one side. The best way to check which size fits is to hold a ring that fits you up against the cavities. Once you have used a mould for casting resin, do not use it for food again.
