Jesmonite AC730 Liquid 500 g – liquid component for the AC730 system
Jesmonite AC730 Liquid is the water-based acrylic liquid of the AC730 system. Combined with AC730 Base, it makes a mineral-acrylic casting material for glass-fibre-reinforced decorative architectural mouldings and small casts. According to the manufacturer, it is also suitable for sculptures, garden ornaments, statues and water features. The bottle contains 500 g.
The Liquid is not a casting compound on its own: you always need the matching AC730 Base. The mixing ratio is 5 parts Base to 1 part Liquid by weight. With 500 g of Liquid you can therefore process 2,500 g of Base. According to the manufacturer, the finished system reaches a compressive strength of 58 MPa and fire class A2-s1-d0.
Using AC730 Liquid
Shake the Liquid well before use. Weigh Base and Liquid in a 5 : 1 ratio by weight, not by volume, as liquid and powder differ in density. It is best to mix with an electric mixer until you have a smooth mixture without lumps. Only mix as much as you can pour straight away, as the mixture begins to set. According to the manufacturer, initial set is 30–45 minutes (18 °C, without retarder); in warm conditions it is faster.
Storage and documentation
Store the Liquid at a constant temperature between 5 °C and 25 °C and protect it from frost. You will find further technical documents via the QR code on the packaging.
