Pipe Cleaners, Chenille Stems, Ø 4, 6 and 9 mm, 30 cm, 700 Pieces

Pipe cleaner set with 700 coloured chenille stems in three thicknesses

This set contains 700 pipe cleaners (chenille stems) in assorted colours and three thicknesses: Ø 4, 6 and 9 mm. Each stem is approx. 30 cm long, has a soft covering and bends easily. You can use them to make figures, animals, flowers or small decorations.

The large quantity is enough for several projects or for craft sessions with many participants. The three diameters come mixed in the set, so you do not have to put together different packs.

Working with the three thicknesses

The thin stems with Ø 4 mm are suited to fine details such as antennae, legs or flower stalks. The thick ones with Ø 9 mm give bodies and flower heads more volume. To join them, twist two stems together or wind one stem around another. To shorten them, it is better to use wire cutters or a pair of scissors you no longer need for paper, as the wire inside will blunt the blades. For shapes that do not hold on their own, add a dab of hot glue or craft glue. If you need longer or thicker stems, pipe cleaners of the same kind are also available in 50 cm lengths and in Ø 8, 14 and 20 mm.
