Rayher Opaque Glass Large-Hole Beads – Glass Beads in Grey, Lilac and White Shades

Rayher large-hole glass beads are opaque glass beads in grey, lilac and white shades, supplied in a 55 g tin. With a threading hole of approx. 1.3 mm, you can thread them onto cords, leather cord or elastic cord. They suit jewellery, craft projects and decorations where slightly thicker cords need to pass through the bead.

The beads are opaque, meaning not translucent, and the tin contains only shades from the range stated. For other colour schemes, the series has separate items in red/yellow, green/blue and blue/turquoise. Choose your size from the options.

Threading tips

The large hole is the advantage of these beads: even cords that will not fit through small beads can be threaded here. Check beforehand that your cord passes easily through the hole of approx. 1.3 mm. With soft cords, it helps to taper the end or stiffen it with a little adhesive tape. A knot before and after the bead keeps it in place.

Choosing a colour mix

Grey, lilac and white shades blend well into calm, cool colour combinations. If you would like to add warmer or stronger colours, choose the tins in the series in other colour ranges.
