PappArt treasure chest in kraft card
The PappArt treasure chest is a cardboard box made of brown kraft card with a hinged lid. You can paint it with acrylic paint or cover it with paper, napkins or fabric. It then becomes a gift box, a treasure chest for a children's birthday party or a small storage box. The chest comes in five sizes, from the mini chest for a voucher or a piece of jewellery to the larger box for craft supplies. Choose your size from the options.
Decorating the treasure chest
On brown card, light acrylic paints often look darker and less opaque. For bright colours, first apply a coat of white acrylic paint. Apply the paint in thin layers so that the card does not warp, and let each layer dry. Leave the lid open while drying, otherwise it may stick. For decoupage you will need a suitable napkin glue.
