Rico Design silicone mould for hair clips and brooches with 8 shapes

With the Rico Design silicone mould you can cast resin inserts for handmade hair clips and brooches. The mould is made of soft silicone and has 8 shapes in different forms and sizes. According to the manufacturer, it is suitable for epoxy resin, UV Resin Soft and UV resin.

Because the silicone is soft, you can remove fully cured castings from the mould easily and without residue, according to the manufacturer. This is useful for narrow shapes such as the long rectangles, which you gently push out rather than bend.

Casting

Place the mould on a level surface and slowly pour the mixed resin into the shapes, following the resin manufacturer's instructions. You can prick air bubbles with a cocktail stick. Let the resin cure completely before removing the pieces, then glue them onto your blanks. Once you have used a mould for resin, do not use it for food again.
