Rico Design silicone mould for buttons – 16 buttons for resin

Rico Design silicone mould – cast 16 buttons in 5 sizes yourself

The Rico Design silicone button mould (art. no. 500752) is made of soft silicone and lets you cast your own buttons in resin. It holds 16 buttons in five sizes from Ø 10 to Ø 25 mm. You can cast small and large buttons in one go and colour them as you like.

According to Rico Design, fully cured castings come out of the mould easily and without leaving any residue. The soft silicone gives way when you release them, and the mould can be reused. It is suitable for epoxy resin, UV resin soft and UV resin.

Casting your buttons

Place the clean, dry mould on a level surface so that all the buttons come out an even thickness. Mix the resin following the manufacturer's instructions, colour it if you wish and pour it slowly into the cavities. You can pop any rising air bubbles with a cocktail stick. Leave the resin to cure completely, then push the buttons out from the back of the flexible mould.

Good to know

The five sizes make choosing easy: the small buttons of Ø 10 and 13 mm suit fine details, while the buttons of Ø 20 and 25 mm make bolder accents. Once you have cast resin in a mould, do not use it for food again.
