Rayher silicone ABC mould – cast the letters A to Z yourself
With the 2-part Rayher silicone ABC mould (art. no. 36130000) you can cast all 26 letters from A to Z, for example for name displays, door signs or children's room decorations. The letters are 5 cm high and 2.5 cm deep. Once set, they can stand up on their own.
According to Rayher, the silicone is extremely elastic and keeps its shape, and it is frost- and heat-resistant from -40 °C to +240 °C. Because the mould can be stretched, you can easily release the dried letters. The mould is then ready to use again.
Casting the letters
Place the mould on a level surface so that the letters come out even. Mix your casting material according to the instructions on the pack and fill the cavities to the brim. If you fill the whole mould, Rayher allows for approx. 800 g of Raysin 200 or approx. 1,000 g of craft concrete. Plan the quantity beforehand so that you do not run out of material halfway through. Let the letters dry completely before removing them. The stretchy silicone then lets you release them easily from the mould.
Care and additions
After casting, clean the mould with water and, if necessary, a little washing-up liquid. A mould that you have used for concrete, casting resin or wax should not be used for food afterwards. If you need smaller letters, according to Rayher the Silicone Mould Mini ABC (art. no. 36158000) is a match.
