Hardicraft Girl June knitting kit – knit your own amigurumi doll

With the Girl June knitting kit from Hardicraft, you knit an amigurumi doll approx. 30 cm tall. The kit contains the pattern, cotton yarn in four colours, toy stuffing and safety eyes. Knitting needles are not included.

The doll's outfit and socks are removable, so you can dress her and change her clothes, including swapping with the outfits of her friends May and April from the same series. The doll was designed by Christel Krukkert and, according to Hardicraft, is intended as a toy.

What's in the kit

You get everything you need for the doll except the needles. The four yarn colours are given in grams, so you can easily judge how much you have.

Making the doll

The pattern sets out the pieces and the order of work. You usually fit the safety eyes before stuffing and sewing up, as they are hard to attach afterwards. Stuff in small portions so the doll ends up evenly firm. Buy the knitting needles separately, in the size your pattern specifies.
