Hardicraft Crochet Kit Dirk the Zebra – Amigurumi with Yarn, Pattern and Toy Stuffing

With the Dirk the Zebra crochet kit from Hardicraft, you crochet an amigurumi zebra that stands approx. 25 cm tall when finished. It was designed by Christel Krukkert. The kit contains a pattern, marl yarn in black and white, toy stuffing and safety eyes. All you still need is a crochet hook.

The yarn is marl, so the colours do not run completely evenly. With 2 × 50 g of yarn, the amount is matched to this one project. You do not have to hunt down yarn or accessories separately.

Working the kit

Amigurumi are usually crocheted in rounds and then stuffed. The enclosed pattern explains how the individual parts of Dirk are made. Crochet tightly and with the stated hook size of 3.0 mm, so that the stuffing does not show through the stitches later. Insert the safety eyes before you stuff and close the head, because you will no longer be able to reach the back afterwards.
