Molly the Seahorse Crochet Kit – Amigurumi with Materials and Pattern

With the Molly the Seahorse crochet kit, you crochet an amigurumi seahorse in turquoise and mint green cotton yarn. Everything except the crochet hook is in the kit, so you can get started straight away.

The pattern is by Christel Krukkert and is included in German. The yarn is matched to the two body colours: 25 g turquoise and 10 g mint green. For the face and decoration there are safety eyes (6 mm) and sequins, and the toy stuffing gives the figure its shape.

Crocheting the seahorse

Amigurumi is usually crocheted tightly and in rounds, so that the stuffing does not show through the stitches later. A 2.5 mm crochet hook is intended for this. Insert the safety eyes before you stuff the figure, because you will not be able to reach the back afterwards. Add the stuffing in small portions and shape the seahorse as you go, so the filling stays even.
