Holly Unicorn Crochet Kit – Amigurumi with Glitter Yarn and Toy Stuffing

With the Holly crochet kit you make an amigurumi unicorn that measures approx. 20 cm when finished. The kit contains yarn in three colours, toy stuffing, safety eyes and a pattern. You only need a crochet hook in addition.

The unicorn is worked from 50 g of cream marl yarn, plus 25 g of gold glitter yarn and 10 g of mint green yarn. The pattern comes in German, English, Dutch and French.

Crocheting the unicorn

Amigurumi is usually worked in a spiral of double crochet. With the recommended 3.0 mm hook the fabric is dense, so the stuffing does not show through later. A stitch marker at the start of the round helps you keep count. The glitter yarn adds accents, for example on the mane and horn. The pattern shows exactly how the colours are distributed.

• Attach the safety eyes before you stuff the piece, as you will not be able to reach the back afterwards.
• Stuff in small portions so that no dents form and the shape stays even.

The safety eyes are small parts. Attach them carefully and do not let small children play unsupervised with the kit or the finished unicorn.
