The LYKKE Indigo circular knitting needle set is an interchangeable set with wooden tips in 9 sizes from 3.25 to 6.5 mm. It includes four cables in three lengths, connectors, keys, stoppers and a blue needle case. You combine tips and cables to suit each project, instead of buying a separate circular needle for every size and length.

The tips are 3.5" (8.9 cm) long. Short tips sit compactly in the hand and are easy to work with on small circumferences such as hats or sleeves.

Assembling the needle

Screw a tip onto each end of a cable and tighten the join lightly with the key. Check the join after the first few rows and tighten it again if necessary, so that nothing comes loose while you knit. The stoppers on the cable ends secure your stitches when you put a project aside.

Choosing the cable length

For knitting in the round, the stitches should fit comfortably on the cable without being stretched. Small circumferences such as hats or sleeves are worked on the shorter 40 or 50 cm cables; for larger pieces, use the 60 cm cable. A connector joins two cables together to lengthen the needle. The needle size you need is given on the ball band or in your pattern.
