Hahnemühle The CAPPUCCINO Pad, A4 tinted sketch pad, 30 sheets

Hahnemühle The CAPPUCCINO Pad A4 – tinted sketch pad for pens and markers

The Hahnemühle The CAPPUCCINO Pad is an A4 sketch pad with cappuccino-coloured paper for drawings and sketches in ink pens, fountain pens, coloured pencils and acrylic markers. The pad contains 30 sheets of 120 g/m² paper and is glued along the top edge.

The warm tint acts as a mid-tone: light colours and highlights, for example in white coloured pencil or acrylic marker, stand out clearly, while dark pens add shadows and outlines. Urban sketches, illustrations and fine line drawings quickly gain depth, without you having to lay down a background first.

Which pens work well?

The surface is smooth and closed. It suits techniques with little abrasion: ink pens, fountain pens, coloured pencils, acrylic markers and other water-based pens. A 120 g/m² sketch paper is not intended for very wet techniques such as watercolour. It is best to test new pens on the edge of a sheet first, before you start your drawing.

Working with the pad

The glued binding at the top keeps the pad together while you draw, so you can use it on your lap or at a table. The paper is age-resistant and acid-free, so your drawings will not yellow quickly.
