Darwi LEATHER – soft, flexible leather paint in a pen
The Darwi LEATHER leather paint pen holds a ready-to-use, water-based paint for decorating light and dark leather as well as faux leather. You draw straight from the pen, with no need to decant paint or clean brushes. It suits lines, lettering, ornaments and small areas on bags, belts, shoes or leather accessories.
The paint stays very soft and flexible, so it is less likely to crack when the material bends with wear. Once dry, it is washable and can no longer be erased. Choose your colour from the options.
Working with the leather pen
The surface should be clean so that the paint adheres well. Clean the leather thoroughly and let it dry completely. Shake the closed pen firmly and press the tip onto a piece of paper several times until it is saturated with paint. Test the paint first on an offcut of leather or an inconspicuous spot. Then draw your design with even pressure. Afterwards, leave the paint to air-dry for 48 hours before you use or wash the piece.
Which materials is the pen suitable for?
The paint is intended for light and dark leather and also works on faux leather. The pen is particularly suited to details, outlines and lettering. For large areas, a leather paint in a bottle is usually more practical. If the tip is worn or dirty, you can clean or replace it.
