Darwi Leather – soft, flexible water-based leather paint

Darwi Leather is a ready-to-use, water-based leather paint for decorating light and dark leather. You can also paint faux leather with it. The paint is very soft and flexible, so it suits surfaces that bend with use, such as bags, shoes or belts.

Once dry, the paint is washable and can no longer be rubbed off. Choose your colour from the options.

Working with Darwi Leather

The paint is ready to use, so you do not need to mix or thin it. This saves time and avoids mixing errors.

• Remove dust and grease from the leather beforehand so the paint adheres well.
• Test the paint first on an inconspicuous area or an offcut.
• Apply it with a brush. Use a wider brush for larger areas and a fine one for details.
• Leave the paint to air-dry for 48 hours before using or washing the piece.
• Clean brushes and tools with water straight after painting, while the paint has not yet dried.

What the leather paint is used for

You can restyle light and dark leather or add motifs to it. Faux leather can also be painted. Thanks to the water-based formula, you work without solvents and clean your tools with water.
