Prym double-pointed knitting needles 1.50 mm – fine steel set for delicate knitting

The Prym set of 5 double-pointed knitting needles (art. no. 171233) is designed for knitting in the round, for example socks, baby socks or other seamless pieces. The needles are made of steel, silver-coloured, 20 cm long and 1.50 mm in size.

According to Prym, the needles are light and easy to grip, the stitches slide smoothly off the needle, and even long knitting sessions stay comfortable. They are particularly thin and therefore suit delicate knitting with fine yarn, for example lace or baby socks.

Working with the needle set

When knitting in the round, you divide the stitches between four needles, and the fifth needle works the stitches of the next one. This creates a closed tube without a seam. At the joins between the needles, take care not to leave the yarn too loose, otherwise visible gaps will form there.

Which yarn?

At 1.50 mm you knit very fine stitches. Choose a correspondingly thin yarn and follow the needle size given in your pattern. For thicker yarns you will need larger needles.
