Kesper Beech Wood Rolling Pin – Barrel with Sliding Bearing for Cake, Biscuit and Pizza Dough

The Kesper rolling pin in FSC®-certified beech wood rolls out cake, biscuit, pizza and pasta dough evenly. The barrel is approx. 25 cm long and 6.3 cm in diameter, so a single pass already covers a good width of dough.

The barrel runs on a metal axle with a plastic sliding bearing. It turns independently of the handles: you push the rolling pin over the dough without your hands having to turn with it.

Rolling out the dough

Lightly flour the work surface and the barrel so that nothing sticks. Roll from the centre outwards and give the dough a quarter turn now and then. The dough sheet will then be an even thickness and is less likely to tear at the edges.

Care

Wipe the rolling pin clean by hand after use and let it dry thoroughly. Do not put the wood in water or in the dishwasher, as moisture damages both the wood and the bearing.
