Rayher Glass Suncatcher Crystal Drops, Set of 2

Rayher drop-shaped suncatcher set – two sizes with nylon thread

The Rayher suncatcher set consists of two drop-shaped suncatchers made of borosilicate glass. Using the nylon thread supplied, you can hang them as window or room decoration. When sunlight shines through, it is refracted and lots of little rainbows appear around the room.

The suncatchers are finished decorative pieces, not a craft kit. According to Rayher, the glass does not tarnish. You can hang the two sizes (3.4 × 5 cm and 4.1 × 6.2 cm) side by side at different heights.

Hanging the suncatchers

Thread the nylon thread through the small hole at the top of the glass drop and knot it firmly, ideally twice. Then attach it to the window frame, a hook or a curtain rod. With 3 m of thread you decide the hanging height yourself and cut suitable lengths for each suncatcher. They catch the most light at a sunny window, and the rainbows travel around the room with the position of the sun. Do not hang the glass directly in front of paper or fabric, as concentrated sunlight can generate heat there.
