Rayher hot glue sticks – 6 long, clear glue sticks for your glue gun
Rayher hot glue sticks (art. no. 3337100) are clear glue sticks for hot glue guns. The bag contains 6 sticks, Ø 11 mm and 250 mm long, approx. 150 g in total. The length means less reloading on larger projects. Thanks to the clear colour, the glue lines stay discreet.
The glue bonds to card, wood, metal, leather, ceramics and various plastics. You can also use it on textiles, foams and decorative items. According to Rayher, the sticks fit the Rayher hot glue gun 3336400.
Gluing with hot glue
Insert a stick into the gun and let it heat up fully before you squeeze the trigger. Apply the glue to one of the two surfaces and press the parts together straight away, as the glue cools quickly and sets in a short time. On large surfaces, it is best to glue in dots or strips and work in sections. Remove fine strings from the nozzle only once they have cooled.
Does the stick fit your glue gun?
The diameter is what matters: the sticks are 11 mm and only fit guns made for this thickness. Mini guns usually take thinner sticks. On delicate materials such as foams, test the hot glue first on an inconspicuous spot.
