Mod Podge matt glue – quick-drying water-based paper glue

Mod Podge matt glue from Efco is a water-based glue for paper and card, which you can also use as a puzzle glue. It dries quickly, so you can build up several layers one after another without a long wait. Once dry it is clear, with a matt finish. The dried layer can be sanded to a smooth surface.

While the glue is still wet, you can clean brushes, hands and your work surface simply with soap and water. The bottle contains 118 ml.

Gluing paper

The glue is suitable for paper and card, for example for collages, decoupage or cards. Here is how to proceed:

• Prepare the surface so that it is clean, dry and grease-free.
• Apply the glue thinly and evenly with a brush.
• Lay the paper on top and smooth it from the centre outwards so that no air bubbles remain.
• If needed, brush a thin layer over the paper and let each layer dry completely.
• If needed, you can lightly sand the dry surface smooth.

Matt or gloss – and brush care

Choose the matt version if the surface should not reflect light. Mod Podge is also available in a gloss finish. Applying the glue too thickly is more likely to cause waves and wrinkles in the paper, so several thin layers are safer. Wash the brush out with soap and water straight after use, while the glue is still wet. Then leave it to dry lying flat.
