Rico Design silicone resin mould – mini shapes for resin jewellery

The Rico Design silicone resin mould (art. no. 500751) is a soft silicone mould for casting small jewellery pieces in resin. It has several mini shapes, for example stars, hearts, circles and squares. You can make pendants and parts for stud earrings or drop earrings from them.

The silicone is soft, so fully cured pieces come out of the mould easily and without leaving residue. The mould is reusable. It is suitable for epoxy resin and UV resin.

Casting jewellery pieces

Place the mould on a level surface so the resin sits at the same height in all the shapes. Mix the casting resin according to the resin manufacturer's instructions and pour it slowly into the cavities. This traps fewer air bubbles. Leave the pieces to cure completely, then push them out of the flexible mould.

From cast piece to earrings

The cast mini shapes are small and flat. For stud earrings, glue them onto suitable settings. For drop earrings or pendants, embed eyelets in the resin or attach them afterwards.

For craft use only

The mould is intended for casting resin, not as a baking mould. Once it has been used for resin or other craft materials, do not use it for food again.
