Artemio silicone mould, baby and cat – for small jewellery pieces

The Artemio silicone mould (art. no. APM65) with baby and cat motifs is made for small jewellery pieces, from earrings to necklaces. It contains several cavities in different sizes. This lets you make a variety of jewellery elements from one mould and combine them later into a set.

The mould measures 95 × 125 mm and is easy to hold as a whole and to set down on your work surface. Because silicone is flexible, you can ease finished pieces out without putting stress on the edges.

Releasing small jewellery pieces

Fill the cavities only until the surface is level with the top, and scrape off any excess material with a smooth tool. Let the material harden or set completely before you release it. Then press the mould gently outwards from the back and flex it carefully until the piece comes free. With very small motifs such as earrings, it helps to stretch the mould sideways at that spot rather than pulling on the piece. Always adapt your working method to the material you put into the mould.
