Artemio Cabochon Silicone Mould – for Small Jewellery Pieces

The Cabochon silicone mould from Artemio is designed for small jewellery pieces, from earrings to necklaces. With this mould you cast or press jewellery pieces in an even shape, without having to shape each piece individually. The mould sheet measures 95 × 125 mm and, being made of silicone, can be flexed so that you can carefully release finished pieces once they have hardened.

The mould belongs to the Silicone Jewellery Moulds series from Artemio. The other moulds in the series have different motifs: Fantasie, Tropfen & Dreieck, Baby & Katze and Anhänger. Choose Cabochon if you want to make jewellery pieces with cabochon shapes.

Working with the mould

The mould should be clean, dry and free of dust before you fill it. Press firm compounds evenly into the cavities; with liquid compounds, pour them in up to the rim. Scrape off any excess material with a straight edge so that the backs of the pieces are smooth. Release the pieces only once they have fully hardened, carefully flexing the mould outwards from the edges. Which compound you use and what temperatures it withstands depends on the information provided for that compound.
