Efco end caps ø 8 mm – finishing for leather and jewellery cords

The Efco end caps ø 8 mm with extension chain are jewellery findings for finishing leather cords, braided cords and other jewellery cords. You glue them onto both ends of the cord with a little jewellery glue. The ends look neatly finished, and the extension chain lets you adjust the length of the finished piece. Choose your colour from the options.

The end caps are also available in ø 6 mm. Which size fits depends on the thickness of your cord.

How to glue the end caps

Cut the end of the cord straight and test beforehand that it fits into the end cap. Then put a little jewellery glue into the cap, push the cord in and leave the glue to dry completely before you wear the piece. It is better to use too little glue: too much will seep out at the edge and leave marks on the cord. You need two end caps per cord. One pack contains 1 piece, so plan the quantity accordingly.
