Schmincke gloss acrylic varnish is a final varnish for acrylic paints. It protects the surface reliably, intensifies the colours and gives an even gloss.

Application notes

• Shake before use.
• The product is ready to use but can be thinned if needed with, for example, white spirit (50019).
• Apply quickly with a suitable varnish brush at room temperature, only once the painting surface is completely dry – after approx. 3 days for thinly applied acrylic paints, after approx. 1 to 2 weeks for thickly applied ones.
• Clean tools immediately after use with white spirit (50019) or brush cleaner (50051) or (50052).
• The dried varnish layer remains soluble in white spirit (50019) or varnish remover (50060) for a long time.
• The usual thickness of the varnish layer has no significant effect on the UV resistance of the paint layer. We therefore strongly recommend working with high-quality, lightfast acrylic paints wherever possible from the start.
• Close the container immediately after use.
• Store in a cool, dry place.
• Individual preliminary tests are recommended.
• Ingredients: acrylic resin, white spirit.

Danger: May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. May cause respiratory irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Keep out of reach of children. Do not breathe vapours. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTRE or doctor. IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.
