Pebaro Burning Stamps A–L with Symbols – 16 Brass Stamps for Pyrography

The Pebaro burning stamp set contains 16 screw-in stamps: the letters A to L plus four symbols, namely a bracket, a slash, an exclamation mark and a question mark. You can use them to burn lettering, names or short words into wood, leather, cork and other materials. The stamps are made of brass and fit the Pebaro pyrography iron, which is available separately.

The letter height is approx. 8 mm. This keeps lettering easy to read while still looking understated, for example on wooden signs, labels or small gift tags. As the set only contains A–L, it is intended as an addition: for words with later letters you will need further stamps.

Burning with the stamps

Screw the stamp you want into the iron by hand while it is cold, then let the iron heat up completely. Sand the wood finely beforehand so that the surface is smooth and the characters are reproduced cleanly. Press the stamp down briefly and evenly, without wobbling or tilting, otherwise the impression will be uneven.

• Try it out on a piece of scrap wood first to see how long and how firmly you need to press
• For straight lines, hold the edge of a ruler or a stencil against the wood
• The result depends on the type of wood and the temperature of the iron: hard, dense wood usually needs a little more time than soft wood

The pyrography iron and stamps become very hot during use. Do not touch them, and only change or put them down once they have cooled down completely.
