Prym Super-Elastic 7 mm white – stretchy, strong elastic

Prym Super-Elastic (art. no. 910251) is a flat white elastic, 7 mm wide and 5 m long. Choose it when you need a particularly high degree of stretch: according to Prym, the elastic is strong yet supple. It is made of 59% polyester and 41% elastodiene.

The elastic is tested for harmful substances to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. It is washable at 95 °C and tumble-dryer safe, so it also suits garments that you wash often.

Using the elastic

Super-Elastic is suitable for threading through casings, for example in skirt and trouser waistbands, pyjamas or jackets. Attach a safety pin to the end of the elastic and push it through the casing. Hold the other end firmly so that it does not disappear into the hem. Before cutting, hold the elastic around your body slightly stretched and allow a little extra length for joining the ends. Sew the ends together securely so that the join does not come apart when stretched.
