Hardicraft Lore the Lamb Knitting Kit – knit your own amigurumi lamb

With the Lore the Lamb knitting kit from Hardicraft, you knit an amigurumi-style lamb that measures approx. 20 cm. The kit is part of Hardicraft's farm animal knitting kits and, according to the manufacturer, contains a knitting pattern, marl yarn and everything you need to get started, apart from the knitting needles.

The kit includes 50 g each of white marl and brown marl yarn, toy stuffing and safety eyes. The pattern is included in several languages, including German. So there is no need to gather materials yourself; you only add the needles.

Knitting the lamb

Knit the pieces with the 2.5 mm needles given in the pattern. A fairly firm tension is sensible for stuffed figures, because otherwise the stuffing can show through the stitches. Insert the safety eyes before you stuff and close the piece, as you will no longer be able to reach the back afterwards. Add the stuffing in small portions so that the shape is even and has no dents.

The yarn in the kit

The yarn is marled, so the colours blend softly into one another and the knitted fabric looks lively. With 50 g of white and 50 g of brown, you have both colours for Lore in the kit. White and brown are each included once, so you do not need to buy anything extra as long as you follow the pattern.
