With the Lente Esel knitting kit you knit an amigurumi donkey that measures approx. 20 cm. The kit contains marl yarn, toy stuffing, safety eyes and a pattern. You only need to supply the 2.5 mm knitting needles.

The yarn is marl: 50 g in white, 50 g in grey and 5 m in black. The pattern comes in German, English, Dutch and French. So there is no need to gather materials yourself, and the finished animal works as home decor or as a handmade gift.

Knitting the donkey

Knit the donkey on 2.5 mm needles and fairly tightly. This keeps the fabric dense, so the stuffing does not show through later. Insert the safety eyes before stuffing, as you will not be able to reach the back afterwards. Try out their position with pins first so that the eyes sit evenly. Stuff the donkey in small portions so that the head and legs become evenly firm.
