Faber-Castell Dust-free white plastic eraser, 187120

Faber-Castell Dust-free white eraser – clean erasing with little debris

The Faber-Castell Dust-free eraser in white is a plastic eraser for correcting pencil lines on paper. It produces little debris, and the eraser crumbs roll together. That way you don't brush fine crumbs across your drawing, and the paper stays clean.

The eraser sits in a paper sliding sleeve. It is suitable for pencils; with coloured pencils, not every colour can be removed completely.

How to erase cleanly

Hold the paper in place with your free hand and erase in one direction with light pressure. Too much pressure crumples the paper and roughens the surface. Push the sleeve back bit by bit so that you are always working with a clean edge. The eraser crumbs roll together, so you can simply lift them off the sheet. Rub the eraser on a scrap sheet from time to time if it has picked up graphite. Otherwise grey marks may be left on the paper.

Which pencils is it for?

The eraser is intended for pencils. With coloured pencils, the result depends on the pencil and the paper, so test it first on an inconspicuous spot.
