Staedtler Noris junior 141 – extra-large children's pencil with a thick lead

The Staedtler Noris junior 141 is an extra-large children's pencil in grade 2B for children from 2 years. The lead is particularly thick, which according to Staedtler makes it highly break-resistant – handy when small hands still press down hard.

The extra-large size in the yellow and black Noris stripe design fits comfortably in small children's hands. The wood comes from PEFC-certified, sustainably managed forests. The pencil is made in Germany.

2B grade and sharpening

2B is softer than an HB pencil and gives a strong, dark line even with light pressure. This makes the pencil well suited to first scribbles, drawings and writing practice. Because of its thick diameter of approx. 9.5 mm, it does not fit every standard sharpener. Staedtler recommends the Noris junior canister sharpener 514 16 for it. A single pencil is supplied on a card.
