Graine Créative Shower Time Joy – cast 3 orange soaps yourself

With the Graine Créative Shower Time Joy DIY soap making kit, you cast three soaps of your own from three soap blocks of 50 g each (150 g in total). In the Joy version, the soaps come in orange shades. The three moulds show a face, a tiger and hands with a rainbow. The moulds are made in France and can be reused for more soaps. Instructions are included in the kit.

This kit is a craft set: you only melt the ready-made soap blocks and pour them into the moulds, so there is no need to make soap from scratch.

Casting the soaps

The soap can be melted in the microwave. Cut the soap blocks into thin strips so that they melt evenly. Then proceed as follows:

• Put the soap strips in a microwave-safe container and heat for approx. 20 seconds on low power
• Stir with a spatula; the soap must not boil
• Pour the melted soap into the mould straight away
• Allow to harden completely before removing from the mould; to speed this up, place in the fridge for about 20 minutes

Which Shower Time kit to choose

The Shower Time kits all have the same format: three 50 g soaps, three moulds and instructions. They differ in colour and motifs. Joy has orange shades with a face, a tiger and hands with a rainbow. Calm comes in pink and mauve shades with a moon, a sun and a lotus flower. Nature comes in shades of green with flowers and a bird.

Good to know

Melted soap is hot. Pour carefully and do not let children work on their own. The moulds are intended for soap. Do not use them for food afterwards.
