Rayher silicone mould for mini pendants – 15 cavities in 5 shapes

With the Rayher Silicone Mould Mini Pendants (art. no. 36159000) you can cast small pendants and decorative pieces from creative concrete, Raysin, casting resin or wax. The mould has 15 individual cavities in 5 shapes: circle, clover, house, heart and tag, with each shape three times. According to Rayher, it keeps its shape. The soft silicone bends easily once the material has set, so you can release the pendants without force.

Because you cast several shapes in one go, you can make a small batch of gift tags, table decorations or jewellery at once.

Casting the pendants

Place the mould on a level surface so that the casting compound sits evenly in all the cavities. Mix the casting compound according to the instructions on the packaging and fill the cavities. Then tap the mould lightly so that air bubbles rise to the surface. Only demould once the compound has fully set. Then bend the soft silicone carefully from the edges, rather than levering the pendants out. It is best to mix enough compound for all the cavities so that you can pour in one go before it starts to set.

Cleaning

After demoulding, clean the mould with water and, if necessary, a little washing-up liquid. This keeps the fine details clean for the next casting.
