Rayher silicone bunny mould – reusable for Raysin, concrete and wax

The Rayher silicone bunny mould casts a rabbit figure, for example for Easter decorations. The silicone is extremely flexible and keeps its shape, so you can release the dried piece from the mould very easily. The mould is reusable, so you can cast as many bunnies as you like.

At ø 4.2 cm and 9.4 cm high, it produces slim figures that you can display as table decorations or decorate further.

Casting with the mould

Rinse the mould with water before use. According to Rayher, a release agent such as cooking oil is not necessary. Mix your casting material following the instructions on the pack, pour it into the mould and let it dry or harden completely before you remove the piece. Because the mould is 9.4 cm high, it is best to pour slowly so that no air bubbles stay trapped in the ears and head.

Suitable materials

Rayher lists Raysin, creative concrete and creative concrete 5in1 as well suited; wax and epoxy resin are also possible. For one bunny, allow approx. 140 g of Raysin or approx. 160 g of creative concrete. The silicone withstands temperatures from −40 °C to 240 °C. Do not use the mould as a baking tin: once you have used a mould for casting materials, do not use it for food again.
