Prym stitch stoppers – keep stitches safely on the needle

You slip the Prym stitch stoppers (art. no. 611870) onto the tips of your knitting needles so that no stitches slide off when you put your work down. The plastic stoppers have wide rims and sit firmly on the needle.

The set contains 2 pairs, i.e. 4 pieces, in two sizes: the plum blue ones fit fine needles of 2–3.5 mm, the dove grey ones fit thicker needles of 4–7 mm. This covers many common needle sizes, for example for socks as well as for thicker jumper or hat projects.

Using the stitch stoppers

Slide the stitches to just behind the needle tip and push the stopper on firmly. Choose the size to match your needle size: the smaller stoppers go on needles up to 3.5 mm, the larger ones on needles from 4 mm. With double-pointed needles or a circular needle, secure both tips when you pack your knitting into your project bag.
