CLOVER Wonder Clips – sewing clips instead of pins
CLOVER Wonder Clips are fabric clips that hold layers together when sewing and quilting, where pins reach their limits. The clips have a wide opening with a firm hold and secure several layers lying on top of each other. According to Clover, they hold laminated fabrics, faux leather and leather without leaving pin holes.
The underside of the clip is flat. The fabric stays smooth and is easy to guide towards the presser foot. A scale on the base helps you measure seam allowances. The 10 clips come in a case.
What the clips are for
The clips are an alternative to pins, especially for vinyl, pile fabrics and heavy fabrics in which pins would leave visible holes. You can also hold thick layers such as bag handles or piping together without distortion. When quilting, you can use them to secure the binding. The clips are easy to see and easy to find again.
How to use them
Place the clips at right angles to the edge of the seam and remove them before they reach the presser foot. Use the scale on the base to set the seam allowance in 3 mm steps by lining up the fabric edge with the right marking.
