The Prym faux leather coat hanging loops (art. no. 611875) are loops for sewing onto a coat, jacket or collar. They let you hang the garment from a hook or a clothes rail. The pack contains 3 pieces in assorted colours.

The loops are made of imitation leather and are sturdy and tear-resistant according to Prym. Each end has a gold-coloured metal fitting with two sewing holes. The loops can also be used as a replacement when the original loop has torn off.

Attaching the hanging loop

Place the loop centrally on the inside of the collar or on a seam where the fabric is firm, and sew the metal fittings in place through the sewing holes. Use a strong thread, for example buttonhole twist or a tear-resistant all-purpose thread. Stitch through each hole several times and fasten off the thread well so that the loop does not work loose when the garment is hung up. On thin fabrics, a small scrap of fabric as backing helps to stop the stitches from tearing out.
