Prym sewing thread plait – 33 thread colours for repairs on the go and at home

The Prym sewing thread plait with needle and needle threader is a compact sewing kit for travelling and for your sewing corner at home. It contains 100% polyester sewing thread in 33 shades with 7 strands each. The strands are 60 cm long. You can repair a split seam or a loose hem straight away, without having to hunt for a matching thread first.

The thread suits most fabrics, is tear-resistant and easy to care for, and can be machine washed at 60 °C. A sewing needle and a needle threader are included.

How to use the sewing plait

Hold the strands against the fabric and find the closest shade. Pull the matching strand out of the plait. To thread the needle, pass the wire loop of the threader through the eye of the needle, place the thread in the loop and pull it back through the eye together with the thread. Then sew up the seam by hand as usual.

What it is suitable for

With its 33 colours, the sewing plait is a practical basic kit for your luggage, handbag or drawer. It is suitable for quick repairs such as seams, hems or sewing on buttons. It is not intended for a whole sewing project with long seams.
