The Rayher Mega Craft Box (art. no. 69082000) is a craft kit with over 1,200 pieces for children aged 4 and up. With chenille stems, pompoms, googly eyes, felt pieces and Crepla shapes you can make animals, for example, to play with afterwards or give as gifts. The box already contains craft glue and also serves as storage: after crafting, the materials are all back together and sorted.

The mix of soft, sparkly and flat pieces leaves room for plenty of ideas. Chenille stems and craft sticks form bodies and legs, pompoms and fluffy feathers make fur and plumage, and googly eyes and sequins add the details.

Making an animal figure

Bend a chenille stem into a body and legs, or wrap it around a craft stick or a mini wooden clothes peg. Pompoms serve as head, tummy or fur. Cut ears, wings and feet from felt or use the pre-punched Crepla shapes. Finally, add googly eyes, sequins and rhinestones. Stick all the pieces on with a little craft glue and let each layer dry before you carry on. Too much glue will otherwise seep into the pompoms or under the sequins and make the pieces hard.

Who is the box suitable for?

Rayher recommends the kit for children aged 4 and up. As many small pieces such as googly eyes, rhinestones and sequins are included, it is best to craft together with the child or close by. With over 1,200 pieces, there is enough material for many individual figures. The box is therefore also suitable for craft afternoons with several children.
